About Doctoral Society
Established in 2005, the Doctoral Society is one of an important ‘Interest Group’ of UniSA Alumni HK Chapter. The committee of the Doctoral society consists of Dr Alex Tang – Chairman, Dr Kent Leung – Vice Chairman, Dr Lisa Sham – Honorary Secretary and Dr Louis Lock – Honorary Treasurer. They have been actively involving in helping the growth of the Doctoral Society in various approaches.
In 2008 and 2009, the Doctoral Society was a co-organiser or supporter of meaningful seminars and symposium with professional bodies such as HKIE and HKIUS; liaison with UniSA doctoral candidates in Hong Kong. The Doctoral Society has also given full support to the Alumni HK Chapter by active participation in the Chapter’s administration and development. More important, the Doctoral Society is committed to UniSA on all meaningful activities such as promotion of the alumni HK Chapter, image enhancement, and coordinating the annual doctoral dinner.
The Doctoral Society looks forward to the growth of doctoral membership in Hong Kong and also continual networking among doctoral graduates in the region. Opinions and recommendations from all UniSA alumni beneficial to the growth of the Doctoral Society are welcome.
